At Retrograde, we support your continued growth by providing a rental program that can support your more out of this world experiments. Our rental laboratory program is ideal for customers who need laboratory space for projects requiring a Zero G environment.

All of our rental laboratories are high quality, state of the art, and cost-effective facilities.

Short-term rentals are available beginning with three-month terms, and long-term rentals begin with twelve-month terms.

These technologies include multipurpose facilities and Earth science facilities, as well as tools and systems for biology, human physiology, physical science, and materials research. Supporting research in both the external and internal environments of the station, our rental Labs also offer virtually uninterrupted worldwide data and communication capabilities.

Examples of available basic hardware and facilities include centrifuges, incubators, freezers, and microscopes. More advanced capabilities available upon request include rodent research (including bone densitometry), protein crystal growth, materials testing in the external space environment, and even DNA sequencing. Research onboard our rental Labs offers an unparalleled opportunity to understand how gravity influences physical and life sciences—exploiting these effects to understand basic phenomena and advance commercial pursuits. Our Labs work with interested researchers to identify the proper hardware, analytical equipment, transportation, and crew time requirements to ensure success of new projects.

All researchers are given complementary general safety training, as well as access to specialists in order to aid in ensuring safe lab practices and full knowledge of our built-in safety mechanisms and equipment.
